Even wondered what an empty airport looks like at night? Yeah, me neither. I happen to be in Philadelphia, right now. In an airport with the passengers of just one plane. It is 2am. Actually, we wanted to be an hour away from Rome, but… yeah.

The day started well! I flew from DC to Charlotte, and North Carolina looks lovely from above: so many trees! So much green! Love it.

Then, I boarded the flight to Rome. We flew four hours to Halifax through hefty turbulences, then had dinner, then made an u-turn back to the US to fly again through hefty turbulences. The reasons? Some communication and navigation system that needed to get repaired. Apparently, they could find Philadelphia, but they could not have found Rome.

Ah well. At least they gave us all free pizza when we landed in Philadelphia!

No, they didn’t. They didn’t give us free pizza. Bad joke, sorry.

I’m in the plane again, they repaired the systems. Only eight hours away from Rome, yihaa!
