
Good day! Okish productive. David gave an intro to ractive.js; I finally booked my flight to Vancouver; had an OpenNews community call and worked on my blogpost. And in today’s “Look at this” Juan presented the work he did as a fellow. And I storyboarded the longer story we’re working on with Google Slides, which was lots of fun. I like making slides. There’s so much nice about it: You can introduce elements and tweak them differently on the slides coming afterwards. And you can introduce colors and elements which stand for something and then build up something very complex but still understandable, and it seems natural. You can be consistent but still surprising. It’s like a very, very slow animation. With a frame rate of one frame per 30sec or so. Input? 4Output? 5Learnings?Ractive.js is a cousin from reactive.js. And it had a magic mode. What else do you want. OpenAI is a company with some of the best AI researchers in the world, trying to build a human friendly AI and open-sourcing the results.
