Today was the last day of the week, the last day of the Interns, the last day before the Olympics and therefore also the last day I worked on Olympics chart. The Story got published here and I’m pretty happy. Although I think that I could have created more interesting charts if I were faster in d3′ing with the NPR vis graphics rig. Hm.
Also, tonight, the Olympics start!!!1111 Like, officially!!!!11 I’m pretty excited. I remember watching the Olympics four years ago while being in the city for an internship in Frankfurt, in the basement of the sports fraternity I lived at back then. I liked it. And this time, I’m even in a similar time zone as the Olympics, AND thanks to the data project I know tons of stuff now about it. And knowledge increases meaning, am I rite? I’m actually more invested now in the Olympics than ever before. The opening ceremony starts in 2 hours and 15min. Yeah yeah yeah yeah.
