I wanted to know more. Nightingale was exceptional; transforming nursing as her calling. Here are my fav bits from her Wikipedia article:

Interestingly, she didn’t have a high opinion of women. Maybe the lack of uber strong women like herself around her led to this impression.

She was so much more important for us than the asteroid with her name will ever become. It will pass. Nightingale’s impact stuck around.
