I’m not sure if there is an overabundance, and I don’t actually think that we need to make sense of it. But as somebody who loves organizing information, I wonder which mental models y’all might have (e.g. “there are how-to books and meta books, and blogs are not useful”).

There is, for example, the challenge of reading all these amazing #dataviz books. It’s hard to read them all. How to select? What to recommend for absolute beginners?
