I was surprised at first, too, but I don’t think it’s a bad thing.
- The default is 2D, not 3D
- They don’t overdo the 3D – I don’t think it distorts my data perception (?)
- The 3D view gives me an interesting sense of “real-ness”. Like flying over the country with a plane. I like it.
