Today I learned something important: A lot of work doesn’t mean that the end result is a good one. More doesn’t work better. I thought: The more the merrier! …and needed more than four hours for the second spread. (Fun Fact: I only needed twenty minutes for the first one (research included!) AND it looks better).
The spread with the three stories probably took as much time as three different spreads would have - because I introduced three different styles there. I think it looks so not-nice because of the different colors. I’m always coming back to use as little colors as possible; it just looks better. I wanted to go wild with this spread here, but…um…I’m gonna change it soon. I also need to seperate the two stories on the right page better. Maybe, then, this spread doesn’t look so bad at all. (Or, maybe, it does).
