Today was…not the most productive day ever. I started with detail work, which never feels super productive (because you can’t see bold results). But I also thought about the table of content, and I came to the conclusion that I’m fine with having it on more than one page - IF I’m giving a summary of the TOC. That something goes terribly wrong when your summary of the content needs a summary: I guess that’s obvious. Well, I can live with this idea - until a better one comes around.
As you can see, I even have little thumbs of my content in the table of content. Yesterday I mentioned that one purpose of a TOC is to give an incentive to read, and small thumbs and quotes and other gimmick is my idea for achieving this.
One other thing I did today: Designing the last graphic for this magazine; the one about Kickstarter pledges. I guess it’s nice to have a Bauhaus-like graphic for the Master’s Thesis at the Bauhaus University.
