I feel like it’s a long time since time since I’ve written the last time, so I will talk a little bit what happened.
Wednesday was another “Arbeitsgruppe Abschlussklasse” (Task Force Graduation Class). I showed my last magazines to my friends and got good feedback on it (“good” in terms of “helpful”). I also showed some new spreads - and you can see the result here. My friends basically forced me to keep the dropdown menu to have something web-related in the magazine. The idea that some of my friends have for my magazine is to have a bold element on each page and to play with the other elements freshly in each chapter. Well, the bold element here (the dropdown navigation at the top of each page) is not so bold, because I’m otherwise afraid to interfere with the importance of the content. But yeah, now I’m glad it’s there.
Yesterday then was the first of May, so that’s a serious holiday in Weimar. I never see as many people on the streets in Weimar like on the first of May. There’s a big flea market, some small concerts, and a very professional organized huge soapbox race. So I had the key for the Macpool, to work, but I spent the day sleeping in, looking at old flea market stuff and new soapboxes, having lunch/dinner with my friends and - finally - sorting the stuff in my room that’s there since I got all my boxes and books from my old shared flat in my new one.
And today was the first day since London on which I’ve worked as motivated and concentrated and successful as before London. I don’t know, but I just wasn’t so motivated in the last days. Well, seems like this changed. I worked on the Bitcoin chart (suuuper understandable now!) and brought some magazine-like-in-every-issue-repeatable elements in the beginning of the magazine.
And I played with smoke for another Bitcoin story. Good day today.
