Today I didn’t feel so well, so after our weekly project planning, I decided to face the for days enduring rain our there and take the Metro home. (And the image you can see up there is a Metro station here.) I’m glad I went home, but I missed some great stuff, like the last day of our interns Brandon and Zyma, the explanation of a NPR org-chart, the arrival of a book I ordered and especially: More R programming with Katie. I was looking forward to that :/
Once home, I rested for a few hours and then continued working on my blog post. I worked through two tools and two programming languages…only two more programming languages left and I will have two of three blog posts ready to publish.
Tomorrow: Coral Project Hackathon at the Washington Post!

Learnings?
I should definitely at least skim “Visualize this”. Seems like a great book.
I find d3.js more intuitive than Highcharts. Who would have thought that. Definitely not me.
