It’s been raining. For many days now it has been raining on and off, sometimes weak, sometimes strong… But the ground has always been wet and the sky has always been cloudy. I don’t mind it so much: sometimes, there’s even sun.

Today I did smaller stuff at work: I did some research on a potential story. Went to a tiny desk concert. Had a project planning meeting. Worked through my email inbox. Got organizational stuff done.

Then I played a little bit on the NPR piano again, this time with S. That was nice. Outside was rain, inside was music, and blueberries.

Fifteen years ago, most white middle class people wouldn’t want to live in the center of a city. They’d move to the suburbs instead, because there was too much criminality downtown. Now that changes; more white middle class people move back to the city center.

Smoked salmon is as great as I remember it to be.

“hands-off” is a word. As opposite to the known “hands-on”.

The Meridian Hill Park hill is actually defeatable with a bike. It’s ok. It’s better than I thought it would be. I should bike it up more often.

4% of boys have been part of the boy scouts.
