Today: Calm, nice day. I worked mostly on my talk for the Information+ conference in Vancouver next Thursday and learned more about dplyr and I enjoyed both. And I first cleaned up and then uploaded all my notes about data journalism tools to Github. They are messy and rather cheat sheets, mostly for me. But maybe they’ll help somebody. And even if not: It’s good to have them on Github.
Then in the evening I was meeting with Jennings, who I met exactly one year ago at the OpenStreetMap State of the Map conference in New York City. He will do a research fellowship here in DC for the next two weeks, and I can’t wait to see what he will come up with.
