This is hard to rate. I enjoyed the beginning so, so much – but I felt that the rest of the book didn’t keep the promise these first few pages made. The story was good but not great. Lots of characters were introduced, but none of them (except Klara) enough that I started to really care for them. What turned the story from “meh” to “really good read”, in my opinion, was the way Klara told it.
