Hello world! While I wrote mostly into the void since mid-November, I now might (might!) have an audience. Maybe some of you are opening this page once and never again. Maybe some of you are checking in every few days or weeks. Are dozens reading what I’m writing? Or zero? I don’t know, because this is Notion, and no analytics are turned on for this page – on purpose.
Well, anyway – today was a day that felt great, thanks to you all. With the help of my coworkers Rose and Eddie I wrote and published the announcement of the book and these updates you’re reading right now. I also posted in on Twitter, and many of you were incredible nice and replied some nice words. Thank you!
And I had a 30min call with another person who replied to the color survey and had a really nice chat with them about style guides and “running out of colors”. Like yesterday, hearing thoughts from others on colors was very motivational – but I got my third Covid vaccination at the other side of Berlin this afternoon, so instead of illustrating more color advice and doing more research, I sat in subways for a long time.
