I’m glad to hear that (according to other reviews) I’m not the only one who found the beginning inspiring and beautiful — a very clear 5 star book — and then got tired to pick this book up again towards the end. It’s just so long. It never ends. I wish I had stopped reading this book as soon as I felt like this. I was hoping that this joy and awe of reading the first third of the book would return, but it didn’t. Continue reading left me with a worse impression of the whole book.
I second some advice I read in another review: Read the first wonderful chapters, then stop when it gets repetitive and boring. 4/5 stars.
