Ok-ish day today! 8.5 pages written and/or polished. I kind of rushed through the chapter on colors for races and ethnicity, reminding myself that there’s still a lot of other content to be written in that book and that I had declared a “shallow first, depth later” policy a few days ago for that topic. So…yeah, I finished it! That was quick.
I then had some troubles getting into the “color psychology” chapter – there are just a lot of similar but different ways to look at “color associations”, I found. I did find my way in, too, also also rushed through it (for now); hoping to satisfy both the opinion that yes, blue has other general connotations than yellow – while yes, it also hugely depends on lightness and saturation, context, background, etc.
