Today was better! I wrote about bivariate maps, about how different colors are differently saturated at different lightnesses, and about what it means for a color scale to be perceptually uniform. I also finished a bigger section on which colors gradients should have.
I filled 14 pages, but they’re more drafty than what I worked on in the days before – there are still some figures to be created.
I still need to figure out the best tools to do so. For now I’m doing a big list of “FIGURES STILL TO BE CREATED”, and then I might be do them all in a batch in JavaScript or R.
