Today I finished the section on color keys – another 6.5 pages done. That felt nice.
The rest of the day I was busy helping Rose to get her article out on our new and very shiny right-to-left support for Datawrapper visualizations. I also had two meetings – one of them even in our office. Our office! Wow. I’m still sitting here (in our office!), and I haven’t been here for weeks (months?) so that’s special (and nice!).
The next challenge is to research the section on intuitive colors. I did some research on color psychology today and how (if at all) it applies to data visualization. And I think I got some first good ideas on how to think about it. Which makes me feel like this topic is…doable. Still. Wish me luck.
