New week! Today I kept working where I left on last Thursday: I messages two people asking what’s up with the pure black text color on their data visualizations (and already got a very nice reply), and then continued writing other chapters on the color contrast ratio – e.g. about the limits of the WCAG.
The figure at the top shows that they don’t take size into account, while the one at the bottom shows what the WCAG means for some famous quantitative color scales:
I also had a nice lunch with one of my coworkers (Udon noodles! So delicious). And I started showing my coworker Rose how to (well, how I) design feature images, so she can slowly do that more in the future, too.
