Another good day! I’m slowly getting to the end of the chapter on accessibility. I knew that this whole section would be a fairly quick one to get through – but that’s just thanks to a lot of blog posts I’ve already written on the topic. Today I ended writing about contrast, and adjusted the chapter on “how to design color-blind friendly”. 19 pages in total.

And I still found time to read two papers, which made me very happy. I haven’t done that in a while.

Part of the paper “Colorgorical: Creating discriminable and preferable color palettes for information visualization” by Connor C. Gramazio, David H. Laidlaw, and Karen B. Schloss

The more I write in this section, the more I doubt my initial structure for it, though. I think I need to do some moving of chapters once I went through all of them. I keep writing: “As we’ll see later…” and I’m fairly sure at least half of them could be a “As we’ve seen…”

Another highlight today: We kept working on that something which we’ll probably publish tomorrow…and I’m very excited about sharing it with you all.
