I’m back! 🥳 2 years and 1 month after I stopped updating this notebook, I’m happy to report that a) I’m working again on the color book, and b) that I’ll continue with the updates here.
A few things happened in the meantime: I gave birth to a son, took parental leave, organized a conference, and wrote six big blog posts (three of them on color).
Not much obvious work on the book is left, actually, and I hope that, considering my other obligations (we’re pretty busy at Datawrapper these days) I’m done with the big draft at the beginning of next year.
Today I started putting together a big section of the book that’s left: On how to actually pick a color palette. Maybe the R tool I started developing two years ago will come in handy?
